We’re Kimberly and Dawson — high school sweethearts, now married and telling stories through photo + film.
Rooted Two was born from our shared love of connection, quiet moments, and the land we call home. Kimberly captures the stills, Dawson rolls the film, and together we document stories that feel honest and grounded.
When we’re not behind the camera, you’ll find us with our family, three dogs and two Highland cows — living slowly and chasing golden hour across the Colorado plains.
We’re a pretty laid-back pair who love dogs, deep chats, and chasing sunsets with cameras in hand.
Kimberly’s the one cracking sarcastic jokes mid-session to get you laughing, and Dawson’s probably adjusting audio levels while pretending he’s not crying during your vows. Together, we bring a chill, heartfelt energy to every shoot — blending the real, the ridiculous, and the really meaningful.
